Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

How much fabric does one order quantity represent?
For fabrics sold in units of 0.5 linear metres, quantity 1 equals half a linear metre and quantity 2 equals one linear metre. Check the unit for the selected fabric before ordering.
Are all fabric widths the same?
No. The roll width depends on the fabric. When comparing it with your pattern, check the width stated for the selected item as well as the length you need.
What are the sewing fabrics made of?
The material depends on the selected fabric. The product page lists its fibre composition. A fabric name or colour alone does not replace this material information.
How do I care for fabric for my sewing project?
Follow the care instructions for the specific fabric. Do not automatically apply one wash temperature to other fabric qualities or to a finished product with additional filling or fixed components.
