Curtain up for your stories: a KraftKids fabric puppet theatre turns a suitable door frame opening into a little stage. Explore muslin and double crepe in different designs. A wooden rod for stabilisation is included; choose a suitable tension rod and puppets separately.
A puppet theatre for your door frame
The fabric puppet theatre is hung up and is not a freestanding stage. It measures about 90 × 200 cm; the stage opening is about 55 × 65 cm, width × height in each case. The integrated curtains can be tied back at the sides. Sewn-on pennant decoration is also included. Whether you put on a Punch and Judy show or bring your own characters to the stage is up to you.
Check the hanging method and doorway first
There is a fabric tunnel along the top edge for a suitable tension or telescopic rod. Compare the dimensions of your opening with the stage, rod and intended fastening method. We recommend the IKEA BOTAREN shower curtain rod with a 70–120 cm span as a separately available option, if its span and fastening suit your door frame opening. Check that it fits before buying. You can ask about custom dimensions for the puppet theatre.
What is included with the puppet theatre
You receive the fabric stage with its integrated curtains, pennant decoration and a removable wooden rod to provide support and shape. The tension or telescopic rod, puppets and other decorations are not included. The wooden support rod should not be confused with the rod used to hang the theatre.
Choose a fabric design and care for it properly
The muslin and double crepe textiles are 100% cotton. Choose a plain version or a pattern from the product selection. Remove the wooden rod before washing. The theatre can be washed at 40 °C on a gentle cycle and must not be tumble-dried. Also follow the other care instructions for your model.
Plan your next show together
A short story, two characters and a curious audience are enough to get started. Let your children help decide which roles appear and how the story continues. Use the stage only with suitable fastening and under supervision. Children must not climb or hang from the theatre. Check seams and fastening regularly and follow all the product's safety instructions.
